Point High School started participating in the Odd Socks project in 2019. The project entails the collection of socks that has lost their partners (“odd socks”) and then re-matching them with similar socks. These new pairs of socks are then donated to the homeless. Point recently donated 210 pairs of the re-matched socks to the Haven Night Shelter.

Boekies vir Koekies is nog een van HYPI, Hoërskool Punt se gemeenskapsdiens, se jaarlikse projekte. Die projek behels dat leerders tweedehandse boeke en tydskrifte aan die skool skenk. In ruil ontvang hulle ‘n cupcake vir elke 10 boeke of tydskrifte wat geskenk word. Die boeke wat hierdie jaar ingesamel is, is ook geskenk aan Haven Nagskuiling.
